Mrs. Norma Lee Carrier
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15, at St. Joseph Baptist Church, 1219 W. Hutchinson Ave., Crowley, for Mrs. Norma Lee Carrier, affectionately known by her family and friends as “Miss Lou,” 87, who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, in Crowley.
Interment will be in West Crowley Cemetery.
Rev. Pernell Trent Sr., pastor of St. Joseph Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral service.
Miss Lou leaves to cherish her memories: three sons, Eddie Byers, Toren Byers Sr. and Keith (Udhn) Guidry-Allah, all of Crowley; one daughter, Elouise Byers Scott of Crowley; one brother, Albert Mitchell of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five sisters-in-law; several godchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Carrier; her parents, Herman and Elouise Byers; two brothers, Curby Byers and Hollis Byers; one sister, Regina Byers; and one daughter-in-law, Roslyn Byers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 15, from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at St. Joseph Baptist Church.
